Exploration Photography Daily View - June 8, 2015

Hi there! Welcome to the Exploration Photography Daily View. Today I would like to share a shot of one of our many neighborhood squirrels.

This was shot in my neighbor's yard with my camera phone about a half hour before we got a very heavy downpour. I guess he was grabbing a quick snack before taking cover.

Thanks for stopping by my friends.

Until next time...

  1. First, I loved yesterday's video! I caught myself sputtering when the wave hit the camera! So real! Seagulls have the saddest cries.....so lonely....Maybe today's squirrel came for a snack.....or maybe to pick the flower for his sweetie? Ha ha!

    1. Thanks Debbie! I like the way the video came out but it was sure "fun" recording it. I was wearing regular shorts instead of a swim suit because the water was too cold to swim in and I had to kneel in the shallow water and hold the camera in the sand as the waves washed over it. Someday I'll come up with a way to secure the camera in the sand.

The squirrel didn't even eat any of the peanuts I gave him. He buried them for later. I hope he can find them when he is hungry.
