Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today I am sharing a few pictures from the Cafe a few days ago. Here is a couple pictures of a "messy haired" Bluejay that stopped by for a snack.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

For today's view I am sharing a few more shots from my sunrise shoot at the Park Sunday morning. I have included a couple more of the sun and a few other miscellaneous views. I am not sure what I think about the second shot but I am including it anyway. Let me know your thoughts about it.

Sunday View - 28 August 2022 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

As usual I was up early today and though I was a bit skeptical about the weather I still headed to the park to try for a sunrise photo or two. And even with some looming clouds the sun still came through and provided quite a show. For today's view I would like to share some of what I captured with you. Please keep in mind that these were shot without any kind of filter and that caution should always be used when photographing the sun. Especially when viewing it through a lens.

I am also including this short video showing the scenery around me when shooting the sun.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Sometimes there is a place really cool that is just around the corner from you. Almost literally. Today I visited one of those places when I took a short 10 minute drive to the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove. It is a park and wildlife sanctuary that offers paved and unpaved trails for walking, hiking and biking. And of course there are plenty of photo opportunities. So I hit one of the trails with my camera in hand and came back with some cool shots. And for today's view I am sharing some of them with you. This first photo is a Whitetail Deer that stood and stared at me from a distance. She stood there long enough for me to snap a few frames of her. Almost a "deer in the headlights" kind of moment.

These next few shots show a bee that was too busy collecting pollen to even notice me.

And here are a few plants and wildflowers to round out today's post

Friday is here and so is another Friday Schnitzel picture. It was easy to get today because I shot this right before his dinner and he was letting me know he was hungry.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

I don't have a lot to share today but I did get out for a short while and shot a couple squirrel pictures. Not my best effort but not bad either. Stay tuned however because I have a few weekend photo ideas.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Yesterday after I shot a series of sunrise photos I took a few minutes to photograph some wildflowers that I thought would be cool to share here. And I will share them but just not today. Today I would like you to see something a little more unique. Unique to me at least. I have never seen wasps at rest before but that's what I believe this is. And I really mean at rest because I was able top get up close to shoot this without them reacting at all. Maybe they were sleeping?

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

So I woke up early this morning and as I was lying in bed I thought about whether or not I should get up or if I should just just try to go back to sleep. As I did I remembered that I had been wanting to get some new sunrise pictures so it was decided I would get up. But as I got into my car to head over to the park I noticed that it was cloudy and I thought that maybe this morning was going to be a bust. But I headed out anyway. After all the park is just a minute away. Or so I thought. When I got to my regular vantage point for the Sun I saw that I had no good view of the sky. You see I go to the Norristown Farm Park and the "Farm" part of the name is for real. The center of the park is full of tall feed corn at the moment and as such there is not really a good place to shoot a sunrise or the sky in general. But all was not lost because there is another entrance to the park about a mile or so away that is on the other side of the corn fields. So off I went. After parking my car it was just a simple walk across the road into a field on a hill and I had a most spectacular view of the sky. But the sky was still full of clouds. But now the clouds were not quite as full as before so I waited. And I am sure glad I did because what I was about to see was a very beautiful sunrise. And I am very happy to be able to share it with you today. And I also found a new and wonderful spot to shoot future sunrises. There is even a nice park bench to rest on while I wait so it is a win win situation.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today has been a pretty lazy day around here my friends and as such I really didn't get out and about with my camera. But I did spend a little time outside at the Cafe and saw a few of our regular visitors. So for today's view I am sharing a few shots of one of them. I usually can't get close to the woodpeckers when they stop by for a snack but for some reason this little guy didn't seem to mind my company.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today I am wrapping up last weekend's visit to Morris Arboretum. I hope you have enjoyed the flowers in my images as much as I enjoyed seeing them live. I hope to get back there in the near future to get a closer look at some of the areas I haven't explored yet and to see the change of the seasons in the coming weeks and months. I think it will be very nice.
