Today's throwback is a continuation of yesterday's post. So while I may not have shared these photos on the blog before they are still a throwback taking us back fifteen years. Wow, fifteen years. It seems just like yesterday. So much so that I can remember details of our trip. And speaking of trips may I suggest you make the trip to the San Diego Zoo if you are ever in Southern California.

So what do I post on a day when I don't have anything new to share? Well I go into the archives of course. Today's photo goes back 15 years when Kim,  Terry and I were on a cruise out of Long Beach California. I shot it while in San Diego at the famous San Diego Zoo. And as you can see it is one of their koalas. I hope to get back there one day to visit again. It's one of my favorite places.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today's view is yet another squirrel. I was in our back yard briefly after work today trying to get a shot of this girl at one of our feeders but I guess she got a little skittish and ran off. She didn't go too far however and I spotted her on our neighbor's fence. Surprising enough she didn't run again and let me shoot a few pictures. And now going over those photos I have an idea that she may be "with baby squirrels". Now I know our squirrels eat well and may be a bit, chubby, but I think I am right. I guess we'll see soon enough.

Today when we got home from the camper I went about my regular routine of bringing in our bags and our laundry and making sure both our indoor and outdoor animals were fed. And as usual there was one of our squirrels waiting for peanuts. This has been an almost daily event. And for today's view I would like to share a few snapshots of her I made with my phone.

Saturday View - 25 July 2020 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View 

Today was another lazy Saturday my friends. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I haven't been able to get around a lot and the reason for that has now been confirmed to be a torn meniscus in my left knee. I am able to walk and go to work but at times it is very uncomfortable. So for now there will be a lot of "lazy" days. In a few weeks though I am getting it fixed and hopefully get back to normal. Or as close as possible. Anyway for today's lazy view I would like to share another Schnitzel picture. I think it pretty much sums up the day.

Oh and look who stopped by the campground today for Christmas in July.

It's weird that just about every weekend we make our way to the shore but I really haven't been to the ocean. It's mostly because of this bad knee of mine I suppose. I really try to use the weekend to rest a little. But I'll make it a point to get out there soon and grab some pics. For today however I am sharing another Schnitzel picture. Besides, Schnitzel along with the Cafe squirrels seems to be a fan favorite. He may look annoyed in this shot but he was really just waiting for me to give him the treat I was baiting him with. After all this time he still doesn't like his picture taken. He usually tries his best to avoid the camera.

In early Spring I started growing some sunflowers on our kitchen windowsill with the intent of transplanting them outside. And I did but I must have done something wrong because they didn't take off.
