If you have been reading my blog for a while you may know that I am very fond of orchids. A couple weeks back I showed you the one that my sister Elaine gave us on Thanksgiving 2014. In that photo you could see buds after literally several months of dormancy. Well a couple days ago one of those buds bloomed!
Absolutely beautiful! And there's a lot more where this came from. It's just a matter of time. In fact I really think I need to transplant it into a bigger pot. I just have to be careful because with an orchid's beauty comes a degree of fragility. Wish me luck!
