Exploration Photography Daily View - November 16, 2015

Hi and welcome to the Daily View!

To start off the new work week I would like to shift away from our zoo trip on Saturday and share this shot from the Cafe this morning.

I haven't seen this guy around for a while but he showed up this morning. Came right up to me looking for his peanut. I am very close to hand feeding him so I hope he sticks around.

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

  1. You must take after me. I used to hand-feed a squirrel that I named Peanut when we lived on Gillespie Street. This is a good shot.

  2. Great shot of your little buddy. My father took me to feed the squirrels in the park. I had to hold very still......a real challenge for a child. I remember the sun showing through the fine hair of their tails.....A real moment when one takes that first peanut.

    1. That's really cool! The only time I have actually had a squirrel eat from my hand was just this past Summer in of all places Washington DC. Kim and I were walking back to our car and I stopped to photograph a squirrel and a street vendor on that corner gave us a hot dog roll and told us that the squirrel would eat from our hands. He sure did! Kim had a hard time getting me to leave :)
