December 1, 2014 - Photo Of The Day

Hi there and welcome to December. One day closer the Spring!

Today I am sharing another photo from New Hope yesterday. There are many historical buildings in New Hope and the one in today's post is no exception. This is the Bucks County Playhouse.

The Bucks County Playhouse opened on July 1, 1939. The building was previously the New Hope Mills from the 1790's to the 1930's and before that it was known as the Grist Mills. The town of new Hope is said to have been named after the New Hope Mills.

Since it's opening the Bucks County Playhouse has hosted many famous actors including Dick Van Dyke, Grace Kelly and Walter Matthau to name just a few.

You can read more about this historical venue here. Also check them out at the Visit Bucks County website and of course their official website.

Please come back soon. I have a couple more photos from New Hope to share and some other stuff coming up.

Until next time...
