Not all animals at the zoo are "official" residents. Some just kind of set up camp and make it their home. I mean why not? It's a safe and animal friendly environment and there is always plenty to eat. Just ask this squirrel.

Absolutely LOVED the eagle video! I never heard a sound from the ones in the Philly Zoo. How majestic is the head shot you captured. Perfect! Thank you for sharing such a close-up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie! The bald Eagles are usually very quiet so when i heard them "talk" I knew I had to record it. I must also say that the Eagle exhibit at Elmwood in Norristown beats Philadelphia's and many others hands down. It's wide open with no nets or cage in between them and zoo visitors. I highly recommend a visit if you ever get a chance.
