Today for the first time in a while I took a drive to my favorite bird blind at the visitor center at Peace Valley Park in Bucks County. It's about a 40 minute drive and weekend traffic can be heavy but I got a nice early start so it wasn't bad at all. It was pretty cold when I got there though and there was barely a bird in sight. But after waiting about 15 minutes they showed up and I was able to grab some nice shots. For today's view I would like to share this downy woodpecker.
