Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today's view is a quick shot I made on Saturday afternoon. Here we see one of our squirrels resting as he eats during the hottest part of the day. It was probably around 90° F at the time.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Well the hot and mostly dry weather we had yesterday has turned into fairly warm but very wet weather today. In fact my personal weather station has recorded 1.40 inches of rain so far. There was a period of partial sun and no rain for a couple hours but it has since started raining again. We do need it so it's a good thing I guess. It would just be nice if the rain would fall during the work week. During the clear period I set up at the suet feeder to see who would stop but and the answer was pretty much everyone. But for today's view I am concentrating on a couple woodpeckers. As you will see in the second of the three photos I am sharing it appears that the one woodpecker is feeding the other. I captured several frames displaying this. I believe the bright red headed one to be a male and the duller colored one to be female. At least that's how it works with most birds. I'll have to read up a little on the subject. Take a look and if you like let me know what you think.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Hi there my friends. How's the weather where you are? It's very hot and humid here. We did have about 15 minutes of rain but it didn't help much. But earlier in the day is wasn't so bad. It was probably about 75°F when I headed to the park to shoot today's view. The park has many trails each of which are different distances. I chose one of the shorter at around 2 miles. When I started out I questioned myself as to whether it was a good idea but knowing that a good portion of my walk would be in the shade I continued on. And I shot a lot of frames along the way. So for today's view I would like to share some of them with you. Including a really nice oasis in the shade with benches to sit down for a bit. There's even a "library" provided my the local Boy Scouts.

It's that time of the week again. Time for a Friday Schnitzel picture. I shot this as he was coming in after his afternoon run around the yard.

So what happens when I get an Amazon package that arrives in a medium box? Well a really cool Thursday Smidge picture actually. As soon as I received my order the other day Smidge took over the box and has been using it to sleep in ever since. I guess it will do until she picks her next spot.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today's view is a quick one because although I set up my camera at one of the feeders I didn't get a lot of shots. The birds just weren't stopping by while I was out there. But I did manage to grab one halfway decent photo.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Hi there my friends. I didn't have a lot of time to shoot today so I grabbed a few quick shots at the Cafe. And today's special guest is of course one of our many squirrels. This little guy was enjoying some sunflower seeds before heading up the tree.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
