For today's photo I share one last (for now) image of a wildflower I shot last week at the Pawling's Farm section of Valley Forge. It is a macro and it is in full color. But to me the best quality it offers is the flowers imperfections. Sure I could have easily sought out a "better" subject but this one drew me in. I hope you can see what I did (do).

For today's photo we are switching things up. But just a little. We are going back to macro but we are staying in color instead of black and white. Oh we're going from Valley Forge to a park closer to home too. I shot this at The Norristown Farm Park. A State Park that is almost literally in our backyard.

I believe this to be a wild strawberry. And with it's colors I thought black and white wouldn't do it justice. Though I may give it a look sometime.

Welcome To The Thursday View

Despite some light rain today I managed to make it out for a bit and do a little more shooting. I figured I'd better take advantage of some free time that I have. I once again visited Valley Forge National Park but this time I drove to the other side of the Schuylkill River to the Pawlings Farm Trail section. Home of the "Witness Tree". And though I did get a good number of photos of the tree I also played around a bit doing some macro shots. So for today's photo I would like to share one with you. This one in fact.

There was a light breeze to go along with the light rain and it sure did not make this shot easy.
