With the days getting shorter and shorter I need to take any opportunity to grab a good photo or two. And that means taking advantage of what the night sky has to offer. So that's just what I did this morning before work. The sky was partly cloudy but there was a lot of stars shining through so I set up my camera to see what I could get. For today's view I would like to share some of my results.

Today has been a warm one. Very warm for November. So I took advantage of the weather and did a little work in the garden. Mainly I moved some of the feeders around and even added a new one. When I was done I set up my camera to see if anyone was interested. And for today's view I would like to share a couple of the shots I got.
I would have gotten more but it started to get dark. I'll see what tomorrow's weather is like and maybe try again.

Even if it feels like Saturday today is Friday and it's time for this week's Friday Schnitzel picture. It feels like Saturday because I was off work today as part of the Thanksgiving holiday. Anyway here is today's picture.

Thanksgiving is here and that means I am off for the next four days. This also means I have a little more time to get out and shoot, but of course three of the four days has rain in the forecast. So when I woke up this morning I got dressed and headed to the park to grab some sunrise shots while the weather is nice. But when I arrived there I found out the park was closed for the holiday. Fortunately though I was able to park across the road and walk in long enough to grab some frames. And for today's view I would like to share a few of them with you.

It was another cold one today and Mother Nature decided to throw in a lot of high winds for good measure. A such I didn't get out to shoot for very long. So for today's view I would like to share another two photos from yesterday morning. These were shot a little later in the morning after the sun was getting higher in the sky, hence there is a lot less color.

It's a chilly morning my friends. Mostly clear but very, very chilly. In fact it's about 31° F as I type this. But cold or not I headed out to the park to grab some shots of the morning sky. At that time it was about 26° F. Fortunately there was little wind though so I guess that's something. The result was some of the nicest pictures I have shot in weeks. Once again just like last week these aren't my typical sunrise photos but I really like them. I think you will too. So please take a look and as always feel free to let me know what you think.

After photographing in the park yesterday I decided to take a drive to Morris Arboretum for a walk around. It was a little crowded for a November day since the weather was so nice but I managed to grab some nice shots. If you know me you know that I don't like people in my pictures.
