Today for the first time Kim and I visited the Ridley Creek State Park just about a half hour away. I mean what better to do when it's 31 degrees out? But really it was nice to get out and take a walk. Especially when it is someplace new to us. So anyway I obviously took a bunch of pictures. And for today's view I am sharing a few with you. Last week when I shared a sunrise photo I couldn't quite get the colors the way I wanted. They weren't quite as accurate as they should have been. So I have been doing some reading and practicing in Photoshop and think I've solved the problem. Like most things it was pretty simple. I just had to find the setting. So for today's view I would like to share a wider and hopefully more accurate view of the sun a few minutes after it rose over the horizon.

Anyone else have an extra long Windows Update recently? Well my laptop has been unusable for over two hours so far due to this update. That being said I am not able to post the picture I had planned to. But luckily I have a backup. And that backup is this Smidge picture I shot earlier today. As you can see she is doing one of the things cats do very well. Sleeping. Hopefully I'll have use of my computer tomorrow.

It's been a while my friends but for today's view I am sharing today's sunrise. I was up nice and early and it was unseasonably warm so I grabbed my camera and tripod and headed for the park up the street. And I couldn't have picked a nicer morning. There was just the right amount of cloud and the Sun formed a beautiful orange ball as it rose above the horizon. I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I enjoyed bringing it to you. It's tough to photograph this time of year. At least during the work week. The days are short and there's just not enough sunlight. So seeing as I like to shoot landscapes and nature I rely on weekends to shoot. But luckily I have quite a bit stockpiled to fall back on and share for my daily view. And today I am sharing a photo from 2018 that I shot at the Cafe. I had to shoot a lot of frames before these birds were all facing at least sort of the same direction.
