Well Kim and I are back from vacation and I am here to say that it flew by very quickly. It seems they always do. So now I can go through the many photographs I shot and find the best ones to share with you. I am not using the term "many" lightly either. It's going to take some time. For today's photo I would like to share this squirrel with you.
Some people go to the zoo and take pictures of the animals on exhibit. I am one of those people but I also seem to always find some of the additional zoo guests. This was shot at the Cape May County Zoo in Cape May Court House New Jersey. A place that I always suggest you visit if in the area. You can't beat the admission. Free. But they do accept donations which I also suggest. The zoo is awesome and the staff work very hard to provide an enjoyable experience.
On our continuing journey Kim and I discovered a new place. And quite by accident might I add. Today we visited the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge that is located in both Ocean and Atlantic Counties in South New Jersey. I will be making a special full sized post of our trip through the wildlife refuge soon but for today I would like to share this cool shot I got of a Red Winged Blackbird resting on a speed limit sign. And believe me you do not want to break this speed limit. Visit some time and you'll know why.
The phrase "Million Dollar View" often gets over used but in my opinion today's photo is a fine example. The picture is technically not perfect as it was shot with my phone and is a bit grainy but I think you will see what I mean.

And happy Independence Day (United States)! Kim and I are still in Atlantic City celebrating the 4th of July holiday and like every year we enjoyed a very good fireworks show. This year however we were also greeted with rain and some pretty high winds and a good amount of fog. But that didn't stop the show. I did my best to shoot some photos and I think some of them came out decent. So for today's view I would like to share one with you.
I shot this with my Samsung Galaxy S6 from the 19th floor of the Flagship Resort. If it wasn't for the weather we would have had a perfect view. Still though, I think it was very good. Here is a short video too.
The other night I shared a pretty nice sunset as viewed from the balcony of our suite in Atlantic City. Today I would like to share another from last night. And I think it's even nicer.

And welcome to July! June sure went by fast didn't it? Kim and I are once again in Atlantic City New Jersey to celebrate the Independence Day holiday and after a good bit of rain this afternoon along with a lot of fog things seem to be clearing up nicely.
