Welcome To The Monday View

Today I am sharing a handful of the many photos I shot yesterday at The Atlantic City Auction & Car Show at the Atlantic City Convention Center. This was our first time visiting the Convention Center and like most things in AC everything went pretty much hassle free. Parking was plentiful and traveling within the very modern building was quick and easy. I was very impressed.

This is pretty much the "Theme Cars". At least the cool ones (in my opinion at least). But in addition to these was a virtual boat load of classics. And I'll be sharing some of them too.

Welcome To The Sunday View

Kim and I are home from our quick overnight trip. We were in Atlantic City New Jersey. It was a nice getaway and we had a good time. But the weather could have certainly been better. We got rain, rain and then more rain. And talk about fog?! 

I have a lot to share with you but for now I would like to share two snapshots that will sum up how quickly mother nature shifted gears on us. The first is from yesterday afternoon upon our arrival to our suite and the second is from this morning. The two are not identical but are of the same general view.

A total 180° huh? Of course the reason is due to the warm air that rolled in with the rain. It topped out at about 62° F (around 17° C) in Atlantic City. In fact it's warm here at home right now. I even have some of the windows open to air out the house a little.

Welcome To The Saturday View

Today is a travel day for Kim and Me. Well not really the whole day. We are just going away for the night. And I hope to get some cool photos to share with you here at the blog. For today's view however I am sharing a shot I made this morning while in the back yard. It was very overcast and there wasn't much color so I took the color away completely and made it a black and white. This is one of many bluejays that visited this morning for breakfast at the cafe.

Today we go back three years and take another look at the Joseph Ambler Inn located in North Wales Pennsylvania. Kim and I stayed there for our anniversary in 2015 and I would very much like to visit again. Perhaps during a warmer time of year. We have dined at the restaurant since our visit but I mean for an overnight stay. Today For a daily photo I would like to share a new addition to our family of house plants. Well it's a house plant until the weather turns warm and I can plant it outside. This is a fresh rose bud from the new rose plant/bush that I gave Kim for our anniversary. Which happens to be today :)

Welcome To The Tuesday View

Today's photo is a continuation of our Sunday trip to the zoo. And it is what I call a snapshot+. That means I used a snapshot from my phone's camera and did a little touch up. Mainly I cropped it and adjusted the contrast and color. I can't do too much because it is a jpg file as opposed to the RAW images I get from my Canon. But there was a little room to work. Here is one of the barn owls that reside at the Elmwood Park Zoo.
