For many years now I have had an amaryllis that I have shared on several occasions. For most of it's life it would bloom once a year. Normally one leaf would start to grow and a few days later a second would appear followed by the bud of a flower. About a week or two later the flower would open and for a few weeks we would have a big beautiful flower. And I mean big. Then slowly the flower would wilt and the leaves would die and we were left with a bulb. Well the last time it went through this cycle something strange happened. The two leaves returned a couple weeks later. And for the next several months we had just these leaves. Until last week that is. Last week I was watering it and noticed a bud. And now less than a week later it's grown a lot. And all of this is probably six months earlier than normal. Weird huh? So for today's view I would like to share a couple snapshots.
That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time...
