It's that time of year when we see geese migrating south for the winter in search of warmer weather and more importantly food. But these geese were flying north. In fact we see a lot of them in the colder months. I guess their food supply is plentiful.

For about 20 years I have had the geese fly over my house. And for that long I have been trying to get a picture of them. Congrats on this wonderful shot you got. Ours stay around all winter also and nest on the Delaware River just four blocks away.
