Today's view is from the Cafe and it's one of our newest squirrels. This guy and his siblings seem to be adjusting well and are even looking to me for peanuts. Maybe this group will eat from my hands. Only time will tell.

Only one squirrel ever ate from my hand. I named him Peanut. He would wait at the door for me and stand up to beg.
ReplyDeleteMy father used to take me to the park to feed the squirrels. He taught me to shake the
ReplyDeletepaper bag to 'call' them, take one peanut & sit v-e-r-y still. That was the hard part! The
squirrel would take it & usually dash to hide it as we did this in the fall (stashing time,I guess).
Maybe that's why I like your photos! (Background in this is beautiful!)
