Sunday View - 17 July 2022 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Yesterday I mentioned that I had planned on a couple trips that would give me the opportunity to get some good pictures but I just didn't get around to actually going. Well today I got out on the early side before the heat came along and took a drive to Peace Valley Park in nearby Bucks County Pennsylvania. About 35 minutes away. When I got there I spent a good amount of time in the bird blind and captured what I think are some pretty decent shots. I walked along some of the trails too. But for today's view I am concentrating on the birds. And I have a good selection for you. Please have a look and if you have a favorite feel free to let me know.

Saturday View - 16 July 2022 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

I had a few things planned for today that would have given me some good opportunity to grab some nice pictures, but it just didn't happen. Maybe tomorrow? But as usual I did have a lot of material right here in our back yard. AKA the Cafe. And I set up early so I was able to get a small selection of the breakfast crowd. Check out these shots.

And how about a video too? Just don't mind some of the background noise. I shot this later in the morning and the neighborhood was a little active with people enjoying the outdoors and getting yard work done. Also, you may need to select a better resolution because YouTube likes to lower it for some reason.

Monday View - 11 July 2022 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

When I was getting ready for bed last night and had the dog out back I looked up and saw the Moon shining nice and bright and very clear. It tends to be a little hazy in the Summer months but I guess the lower humidity gave me a better view. So I grabbed my "Moon shooting" camera, my Canon Powershot SX70 HS, and shot a bunch of handheld frames. Today I am sharing two of them. Both went through almost identical post processing but each was shot at different settings. The first was shot fully manual where I set the ISO (film speed), Aperture and Shutter Speed. The second was shot in AUTO. Both were saved as RAW images. I am curious as to which one you like better. Take a look and if you are so inclined let me know.

I also have another GoPro video to show you. This was yesterday afternoon in the Cafe.
