When walking through a wooded area last week I happened to look down and see today's view. I don't know why they interest me but for some reason I love to photograph mushrooms. And aside from the ones I can buy at the supermarket and safely eat I know nothing about them. But I am guessing it would not be wise to eat this one.

Today was a good photography day. I set out to get some nature shots and did better than I could have ever expected. I'll be sharing my work over the next few days but to start things off I would like you to see this hummingbird. He came around early this morning and fortunately I had my DSLR.

Kim and I were driving along Route 9 down here at the shore this afternoon and I saw this scene that I knew I had to share for today's view. Well actually we drove past it on our way to a store but on the way back I pulled to the side to grab a few shots. I really like the way it turned out.
