Throwback Thursday View - 7 May 2020 Edition

Today's throwback is from May 8, 2017 and the subject about 238,900 Miles from Earth. I am talking about the Moon of course. Though it doesn't change in appearance a whole lot the Moon is still one of my favorite things to photograph. That's not to say it doesn't change however. Today's view is a before and after of some lilies we planted a few weeks ago. Though the "before' is one set and the "after" is another. They aren't opening at the same time. We have them in pots by our front door and some planted in the ground by our mailbox. Just another new addition to the garden.

The weather down here at our campsite at the shore turned out to be pretty nice today, despite what the forecasters had to say. And Kim and I got some more cleanup done outside. We raked leaves and gathered a lot of dry twigs. Some of which we burned tonight. And now we are just enjoying the quiet. I'm sure glad we are able to come down and enjoy this.

With everything that is going on in the world right now Kim and I weren't sure when we would be able to get to our camper. But to our delight the campground was able to open this weekend. So here we are cleaning and setting up for the season. Even Schnitzel did his part. And his part was posing for me after he claimed my chair as his. I guess we'll have to share.

Friday View - 1 May 2020 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Friday is here and that means it's time for a Friday Schnitzel picture. If there is something that Schnitzel really loves it's his yard. And yes it is his yard. Just ask him. So with the weather being a little nicer today we spent some time out in the sun and that's when I grabbed today's view.

I also played around with my GoPro in the Cafe and captured about an hour of good video. But for now I would like to share this short clip. It starts out with some birds enjoying a meal then a few seconds in another guest arrives.
