Hi there friends. Today the weather is a lot more seasonal at around 62°F and cloudy with showers. So I didn't make it to the park for another sunrise. And a sunset shot is unlikely too. But I did grab a couple nice photos of one of the Cafe squirrels. I was lucky to get these because this new generation seem more timid than the last few. But over time they will probably get used to me and realize where the peanuts come from.

Hi there my friends. How's the weather where you are? Here it's very sunny and it's going to be a warm day heading into the 80's. Unusual for this time of year but I'll take it. Next week will be more seasonal though. When I woke this morning the first thing I did was check how long I had until sunrise. It was almost two hours away so I knew I had time to get myself up and dressed and make it to the park. I also made sure the skies were clear and they were. So off to the park I went with camera in hand. I arrived about five minutes before the sun started showing on the horizon. Though it was behind a group of trees. But then it rose above them and I shot away. I'm not as happy with my results as I was with last weeks but I still got a few good images. And for today's view I would like to share them with you. If you look closely at this first shot you'll see that's a a small plane above the trees.

Today we head back to the park but instead of the sun I am sharing something new. Well new to me at least. I started out walking down a familiar trail when I noticed a path heading into a wooded area. And as I strolled along with my camera in hand I grabbed some nice scenery and of course some interesting leaves. Then I realized I was walking along one of the parks creeks. Finally I arrived at a nice little picnic area that I am sure few know about. And one day I might just take my lunch down there and enjoy the serenity of the water.

Today I was going to share some more shots from my trip to the park yesterday. I have some really nice stuff. But when I woke this morning I found that the eastern sky was clear and the sun would be visible. So I grabbed my camera and headed to the park to capture it. I did get some good images of the sun but I also got a couple other cool shots. So for today's view I would like to share them with you. I'll probably post yesterday's pictures tomorrow. Unless I get something better today.

The rain stayed away today but it sure is windy. Wind or no wind though I made it out early and took a walk in the park with my camera. And while I was there I discovered a trail I had never walked before. Naturally I shot lots of pictures and I will be sharing them today and tomorrow. I am still playing around with my camera settings when I set up at the Cafe in search of better and crisper images. The only thing is that I don't have a lot of time in the afternoon now that the days are getting shorter. Hopefully the weekend will bring good weather and I can work on this some more.
