It was a nice clear day today and it has been warm too. So I set up at the Cafe to see what I could get. I sure did shoot a lot of frames but when I looked them over I could only find one I thought was good. And although I only got one it was a bird I don't usually see. I'm not even sure what it is but I'll look it up later. I just hope I see more as the weather turns warmer.

Sunday View - 26 March 2023 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Well the rain has gone and it's kind of warm but now we have wind. I decided to take a quick drive to the Norristown Farm Park and have a stroll with the camera. I went looking for signs of Spring and sure enough I found some. I shot a lot of frames and for today's view I would like to share some of them.

This bench overlooks the hillside and creek down below. It's a nice place to sit and rest when you are walking the trail. Of course those trees will soon be full as the weather gets warmer. I thought black and white set the mood nicely for this scene.

This one caught my eye. I guess it's the leaf from last season blended with a bud for the new season.

And these two show some flowers just starting to bud. Soon the trail will be full of these along with many other varieties.

I would also like to share a quick video. This is a time lapse of my drive from one side of the park to the other.

And welcome Spring! Today started out cool but by the time I got home from work it was warm and pleasant. I even got outside to clean the yard a little. As I was finishing sweeping up some debris I looked toward the dogwood tree and noticed a woodpecker sitting on a branch. So I grabbed my camera and was able to capture some pictures. Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Yesterday was warm and partly cloudy and today the winds have kicked up and though it's very sunny it's also rather cold at just 31°F (about 0°C) as I type this. I guess it's a good thing I went to the zoo yesterday. And speaking of the zoo I would like to share more of the photos I shot while I was there. As you can see I shot a lot.

What was supposed to be a rainy Saturday turned out to be sunny and warm. Well partly sunny but sunny nonetheless. And it also happens that after more than two months our local zoo re-opened. There's a lot of construction going on but I can visit. So I drove there today to have a nice walk around and maybe grab a picture or two. Or perhaps dozens. Well a walk around I had. Because of the construction I had to park very far from the main entrance. But after entering the zoo it was very relaxing. The animals were very active and I got a lot of good shots. For today's view I would like to share some of them with you.
