Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Well today has been one of those do nothing days. Almost literally. But I just didn't feel like doing a lot so that's what I did. I mean I did do little things like a load of laundry and I ran the dishwasher but mostly I watched TV. I saw all of the Phillies game and I made lunch for tomorrow but that's really all. Oh and I did set up at one of the Cafe feeders to see who would stop by. And now for today's view I would like to share this with you.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Hi there my friends. So I set out early this morning in hopes of grabbing a sunrise photo or two at the Farm Park up the street. I was up early anyway and according to the weather forecast is was only partly cloudy. And that was true, in the west. Yeah, looking toward the east was a different story. I stuck it out for a while but the longer I waited the cloudier it got. So naturally I didn't get a sunrise photo. But the sky was still pretty nice looking in other directions and had some cool clouds. So for today's view I would like to share a shot of the clouds. I am also sharing two more pictures of a couple things I saw while at the park. The third picture was shot at long range but I think it still came out okay.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Hi there my friends. This morning as I was getting ready for work I thought it might be nice to grab a few shots of the night sky. I had been outside earlier filling the Cafe feeders and I saw there was some stars showing. Well after I got dressed and was ready to go I still had time so I headed outside with my camera and tripod. But as I set up I noticed that the sky was now cloud covered. I was still determined to grab a few pictures though so that's what I did. I figured I'd see what I came up with later. And I must say I was surprised. For today's view I have three photos to share. The first is a wide view of the sky. The next two are cropped in. There is obvious cloud cover but if you look carefully at the second and third shots you'll see why I was surprised. There's not only stars but some of them are rather colorful. I'm thinking it is because of the clouds but I really don't know. Take a look and see what you think.

What a hot day it was today. We reached 96° and are supposed to do it again tomorrow. So for today's view I didn't go far but I did go out into the Cafe. And now I would like to share a few of the shots I got.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Hi there my friends. So when I got up for work this morning I did my usual routine which includes filling the Cafe bird feeders. And when I was out there I looked up at the sky and decided I'd try to shoot a few long exposures to see what I would get. So for today's view I would like to share a couple of them. Each one of these was shot at an ISO of 800 at F6 for 10 seconds each. I also did some light adjusting in Photoshop. I like the way they turned out but have a look and let me know what you think.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today's view is (hopefully) from the Cafe. You see I don't actually have any shots to share as I type this. Right now my camera is set up at the rear feeding station in hopes of some of our guests stopping by for a bite to eat. But even more importantly on a hot day like this a nice drink of fresh water. It's 94° F (34° C) and very sunny. The rear feeding station offers lot's of shade and cool water. It's been very popular this summer. So let's hope I get a few nice pictures for you to see. The time now is 4:00PM.

Well I'm back and it's now 5:03PM. With the weather being hot I wasn't sure if I'd have anyone show up at the feeder but about five minutes after I filled it I had visitors. The other feeders throughout the Cafe weren't touched, but they are in the sun. I guess having a shady area does help. It's kind of like an oasis. So now for today's view I would like to share some of my photos with you.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
