I really didn't get a lot of opportunity today to shoot but we did get out and about for a while. One of our stops was one of our favorite thrift stores down here at the shore. I don't usually find a lot of cameras there but today I found a good one. It's not worth a ton of money but I did get as really good bargain. I couldn't say no. So it is now part of my rather large collection that I hope to organize one day. For today's view I would like to share my find with you. This is a circa 1979 Pentax ME Super

Monday View - 23 September 2019 Edition
Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View
So I was out in the Cafe this afternoon with my camera trying to shoot some bird pictures since I didn't see any squirrels at the time. I went around to the back section (back yard) and shot some really good stuff. When I was done I went back around to the front and saw what I knew had to be today's view. This is one of our recent baby squirrels that has finally come down out of the tree. It isn't my best work and is a little soft for my liking but I really wanted to get the shot. Hopefully I'll get some more soon. Oh and I know it's hard to tell from this image but this little guy would fit in the palm of your hand.

The best view is from the beach and we got there early so we could be right by the water. I shot this laying down and aiming up as the plane flew overhead. Monday View - 16 September 2019 Edition
Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View
For today's view I am sharing two images of the Moon from Saturday's Full Moon Walk. Two to show the contrast between the Moon when it first rose above the horizon and about an hour later when it was higher in the night sky. Please keep in mind that the first shot was handheld so it is not as clear as I would like. Next time I'll bring my tripod. The second shot was made after we got back to the car and I was able to use my tripod. It is much clearer and shows a lot more detail.

Yesterday evening Kim and I attended another Full Moon Walk at the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. Our second. This time a bunch of friends from Ponderosa joined us making it even more fun. And the sky was fairly clear too making for a better view of the Moon rise. So you would think I'd share a picture of the Moon huh? Not yet. Today I would like to share the Sun. We got to the refuge just before sunset making the trip a sort of two for one deal. And I took full advantage. So for today's view here is one of many Sun shots I made.

It's been quite a while but a couple weeks ago one of our orchids that has been very bare finally started to flower. I kept it watered and it's leaves were (and are) very healthy but it was just flowerless. I don't know what made it flower again but I sure am glad it has. For today's view I would like to share a couple shots I made the other day.

Today I would like to share a few shots I made last Saturday while on a Whale and Dolphin watching tour in Cape May New Jersey. Cape May Whale Watcher is a tour we have been on a few times and have always enjoyed. And this time it was even nicer because we went with friends from the campground. It was a great day. We didn't see any whales but we did see a lot of dolphins.

Throwback Thursday View - 5 September 2019 Edition

Today we take a look back to September 5, 2015 at one of my favorite places. Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square Pennsylvania. And this also happens to be one of my favorite photos that I've personally shot. I love being able to capture dragon flies and the Waterlily Garden at Longwood sure is a great place to see them. Kim and I have been visiting our camper at the shore every weekend since early Spring. But for all of the time we have spent down here we haven't made it to any of the Jersey Shore boardwalks.
