For the second time this season Kim and I went to the beach in Avalon. That's Avalon New Jersey for those that aren't familiar. Today though we decided to set our chairs a little closer to the water. Okay, a lot closer actually. We sat at the waters edge. For one The view is very nice but more importantly it's a lot cooler there. The cool air coming off the ocean is really refreshing. Of course being at the beach I shot a picture or two. For today's view I would like to share some of them with you.

Today I would like to share a few snapshots I made today at a place called Cold Spring Village just outside of Cape May. This is part of a nature trail. Kim and took a walk there this morning before it got hot. And rained.

Today Kim and I made our first real visit to the beach in Avalon this season. It was a little crowded but not too bad but it was hot. Real hot. Except by the water. There was a nice breeze by the water and it was a lot more comfortable. And this being our first trip of the season I felt it necessary to grab some seagull pictures. Today's view is a little different from my regular posts. Today for Father's Day Terry took me to a Phillies game. It was their Father's Day game. I know that it is a week early but they are out of town next week so this week it was. Terry's fiancé Gianna her brother and her Dad went too. The Phillies played the Yankees and boy what a game. The Phillies shut them out 7 - 0. But more important is the good time we had together. It was such a thoughtful gift and made me very happy. So for today's view I would like to share some shots I made with my cell phone. And when you consider it was a cell phone I think these came out great.
