Sunday View - 12 August 2018 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

For today's view I am sharing another snapshot from yesterday's visit to Historic Smithville Village in Galloway New Jersey.  If you have ever been to Smithville you probably know they have a chicken or two running around. Well more like dozens of chickens actually. So for today's photo I would like to share this one with you.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

Saturday View - 11 August 2018 Edition

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Today's photo was shot during our visit to Historical Smithville Village today on a rather rainy Saturday. This guy and his friends didn't seem to mind the weather though.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to The Friday View

On our way home from Atlantic City last weekend we made a stop at Smithville Village located in Galloway Township New Jersey. I've posted about Smithville before but just as a recap it is a village of quaint little shops and restaurants. You can read more about it here.

While there we saw lots of local wildlife. Mostly birds of course. And we were greeted by this guy.

Exploration Photography Daily View - July 27, 2016

Hi and welcome to the Daily View!

For no particular reason I would like to share this rooster with you.

Well maybe the reason is because it is getting late and I need to be quick with today's post. But he's still a pretty cool rooster isn't he? I shot this at Smithville Village in Galloway New Jersey a few weeks ago.

Exploration Photography Daily View - July 2, 2016

Hi and welcome to the Daily View!

Have you ever seen a duck smile? Me neither. That is until today. If this isn't a smile I don't know what is.

I shot this today when we visited Historic Smithville Village about 15 miles outside of Atlantic City.

Exploration Photography Daily View - March 18, 2016

Hi and welcome to the Daily View!

This is going to be quick my friends. I am getting to this a bit later than I wanted to so let me get right to today's photo. This is another shot from last weeks trip to Smithville Village.

One of the many roosters we saw that day. Not a hen in sight but plenty of these guys.

Exploration Photography Daily View - March 14, 2016

Hi and welcome to the Daily View!

Have you ever seen a chicken climb a tree? Well I haven't. That is until this past weekend when Kim and I visited Smithville Village in Galloway New Jersey.

Okay maybe this is more common than I know. And he didn't really climb up there. He kind of jumped. And it's really not that high. But I still have never seen a chicken do this before.

Exploration Photography Daily View - February 23, 2016

Hi and welcome to the Daily View!

Why did the chicken cross the road? Or in this case the parking lot? I don't know for sure but it was probably to look for food. This guy and many more like him could be found all over the grounds at Historic Smithville Village in Absecon New Jersey.

There was also a lot of ducks and geese. And if you are in the Atlantic City area I recommend you check out the village. Especially in better weather than Kim and I had today. There are lots of shops and restaurants and in the warmer months all kinds of special events. Check out the link above for info.

Thanks for stopping by!
