Today I am shifting gears a bit. Instead of sharing more Cafe guests I am sharing a very important part of the Cafe itself. Trees are vital to not only a good environment but to the thriving of any wild bird or animal habitat. And our humble Dogwood is no exception. It's a beautiful tree that provides protection and shade and is also just nice to look at. Especially in the Spring when it flowers. I have been trying to find the perfect time to photograph some of those flowers but whenever I've had a chance it was either raining or windy. Well today after work was sunny, warm and had little to no wind. So I grabbed my camera and shot a handful of pictures. And for today's view I would like to share a few of them with you.

Today's view is yet another continuation of my photos from the weekend in the Cafe. Naturally I am sharing another squirrel but I am also sharing a bird that I see a lot but rarely post. I guess because it's not the most colorful or popular bird in the world. Still though I have a policy that everyone needs to eat. And as long as all of our guests get a meal these guys are welcome too.

Continuing with the wealth of images I Captured yesterday at the Cafe I would like to share these two beauties. First we have a Red Winged Blackbird.
Red Winged Blackbirds normally show up in early Spring but this year they were a bit later. I guess it's all the crazy weather we have been having.
And next is a bird we see all year round. This is just one of literally about two dozen that call the Cafe and the surrounding area home.

Can you believe it's May already? Time sure is flying by. I hope it slows down enough so we can enjoy the Summer. For today's view I am sharing a couple shots from the Cafe this morning. I shot a lot. A whole lot. And to start things off for this round of pictures and the month here are two shots of a fan favorite. I am of course talking about one of our squirrels.
I believe these two are the same squirrel. I shot these at the same location but at different times.
