Well my friends another year has come and gone. It sure seems like time passes by quicker and quicker these days. For today's view I couldn't think of anything better than a Schnitzel picture. After all it feels like a Friday since I am off work tomorrow. And besides who doesn't like Schnitzel? Here we see him previewing next year's Christmas costume. I don't think he's all that thrilled but he did cooperate. I think the one without the hat is better but I figured I'd share one with the hat too.

During these Winter months the weekend is my favorite time. Not just because the work week is done but because I have daylight hours to get out and shoot. At least a little. Today I spent a whopping ten minutes at the Cafe with my camera but I came away with a few good shots. And for today's view I would like to share one with you. It's a fan favorite too probably second only to my Friday Schnitzel pictures. I am of course talking about one of our squirrels. It's funny how during the week I don't see them at all except for on our security cam but come the weekend I see a lot of them.

From high atop our weeping willow comes today's view. While outside this morning filling the feeders I saw at least five or six squirrels running up and down through our trees. They were playing catch and generally having a good time and didn't even seem to notice me. So I ran and grabbed my camera and snapped off a few frames.

Welcome To The Exploration Photography Daily View

Well it's been quite a while but this morning was the morning. I got myself up early dressed and grabbed my camera then drove all the way down the street to the park, a whopping 1 1/2 to 2 minutes driveway to parking lot, to shoot the sunrise. When I got there however I wasn't very optimistic because it was very cloudy. But I figured I'd wait it out and even if I didn't get the sun I would be able to get some nice scenery. So I did get a lot of scenery but also much to my delight the sun showed up as well. There was a break in the clouds just above the horizon and it gave me about 5 minutes or so to get some good shots. And for today's view I would like to share this one with you.

I shot today's view while out feeding the squirrels some peanuts at the Cafe. When I first put them out there was about three or four squirrels but after I went inside to get my camera they had scattered. There was however a couple bluejays up in one of our neighbor's trees. So that's what I am sharing with you. Maybe I'll be able to get a squirrel shot tomorrow.

Today's view is a familiar one. I have shared it many times before and will probably share it many more times. And though it doesn't change much I just can't help but to shoot it. I am of course talking about the Moon. In this case the almost Full Moon. The official Full Moon happens tomorrow morning at 12:12am oddly enough on 12/12. I would love to share it but I'm not going to be out there shooting it at that hour. Besides with all of the rainy wet weather we have been having I had to grab this shot while the sky was clear. So here, nice and bright, is our Moon.
